What Industry Does For Us

INDUSTRY

Work cleans the mind, strengthens the body, guards the soul, and fills the purse. It encourages honesty and peacefulness. Hard work plants the seeds and reaps the fruit, while laziness harvests nothing.
Genius is not enough; without self-discipline it is only potential.
Possessions are meaningless; no one is emptier than one who has been given much, but has earned little.
Industry buys a satisfaction and contentment that idleness can’t afford.

As I start my day, let me remember the value of work.
