The Rosary is Biblical and non-denominational

The Rosary is Biblical and non-denominational
In the Rosary, we have the most powerful and effective of all prayers because it is primarily a “gospel prayer.”
The Our Father (Matthew 6: 9- 13; Luke 11: 2- 4) was given us by Christ himself and contains “all the duties we owe to God, the acts of all the virtues and petitions for all our spiritual and corporal needs.”
The first part of the Hail Mary was inspired by the Holy Spirit at the Incarnation and at the Visitation (Luke 1: 26- 56), while the later half was added by the Church at the Council of Ephesus in 430 A.D. when Our Lady’s role as Mother of God was defined.
The Glory Be to the Father (Luke 2: 14; John 1: 14) is a hymn of praise to the Holy Trinity. At the end of each decade as we know, Our Lady asked us to recite the prayer – “O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy.”
The Rosary is the most divine of prayers after the Holy Mass and the Sacraments. The Rosary assumes the dignity of a great public and universal prayer to express the day-to-day needs of the Church, of nations and of the whole world. The Rosary is the sure remedy given us by Heaven for the healing of the evils, which afflict our times.
The fifteen mysteries of the rosary are also the Bible as are the Our Father, the Hail Mary, and the Glory Be – they are the Bible united to prayer that nourishes the soul.
This great prayer not only imparts a deeper awareness and understanding of the meaning and relevance of Our Lords life, but it fans the flame of Divine love in the soul and through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, draws us ever closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Against the background of the words Ave Maria, there passes before the eyes of the soul the main episodes of the life of Jesus Christ and they put us in living communion with Jesus through, we could say, His Mothers Heart.
Matthew 2: 11 they found the Child with Mary His Mother, this reminds us if we wish to find Jesus we must go to Mary.
*Luke 1: 42 “Blessed art thou amongst women and Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, this tells us whoever desires the fruit must go to the tree, whoever desires Jesus must go to Mary, whoever finds Mary will most certainly find Jesus. When Mary comes to us she brings she brings her Son. When we thank Mary we thank the Son. Mary through her “yes” opened the Heavens to all of mankind, through her Life and Salvation came to the earth. Mary brought us Jesus Christ from Heaven who is the Living Bread that comes down from Heaven to give us eternal life.
Jesus said, “I am the living bread which came down from Heaven, if any man eat of this bread he shall live forever. Mary is the Mother of God and so it’s fitting that we invoke her intercession for our salvation. Luke 1: 48 all generations for all ages shall call her blessed.
Romans 8: 28- 30 those He predestined, He justified, He glorified.
John 19: 25– 28 Mary, the Mother of Jesus, becomes the Mother of all mankind, we all become her sons and daughters, as John did, so are we to take her into our homes, our hearts, minds and souls. *With that Jesus said, “All things were now accomplished.”
Matthew 1: 16- 23 Mary, Mother of the Messiah, Emmanuel, “God is with us.” Mary said yes and bought life and salvation into the world.
The Rosary is a prayer, which unites us more intimately with God. The praying of the rosary is second only to Sacred Eucharistic Liturgy, because it consists of a wealth of prayers, all of which have come from Heaven, either dictated, or inspired by God the Father, the Son or the Holy Spirit. Moreover the Gloria we pray at the end of each decade was dictated by God the Father to the angels when He sent them to sing that His Word had just been born as man, (John 1: 14; Luke 2: 14) again it is a hymn to the Holy Trinity.
The Hail Mary is truly a Trinitarian prayer because Mary was the first the live temple of the Blessed Trinity. Luke 1: 35 the Holy Spirit shall come upon you and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you. Therefore the Holy Child to be born of you shall be called “The Son of God.”
Taking up the beads to pray is a remembrance of God and the supernatural. The rosary is a prayer for the poor and the rich, the learned and the uneducated, it is non-denominational.
