The Crucifix: the meaning of the Cross

The Crucifix
Lest the Meaning of the Cross be made void, Christ’s body remains on it in the Catholic Church.
1Corinthians 1:17 so that the cross of Christ might not be emptied of it’s meaning.
:18 the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. :20 to save those who have faith :23 we proclaim Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles :24 to those who are called – Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 1Cor 2:2 for I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified, 2Cor 4:10 (the Church) always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body. 1Cor 12:12- 31 You are Christ’s body. Luke 9:23 take up your cross.
Numbers 21:7- 9 Moses prayed for the people, The Lord said, Make a saraph and mount it on a pole, and if anyone who has been bitten looks at it, he will recover. Moses made a bronze serpent and mounted it on a pole, and whenever anyone who had been bitten by a serpent looked at the bronze serpent, he recovered. (objects may be used as an aid to prayer, meditation and contemplation, and healing purposes, God can’t be limited). John 3:14-16 and as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; that whoever believes may in Him have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life, Colossians 1:20 through Him, to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross, Colossians 2:14 having cancelled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us and which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed to the cross.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me. Ephesians 2:13 in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ, 2:16 and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross by it having put to death the enmity (state of being an enemy).
Philippians 2:8 found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross, Phil 3:18 many walk, of whom I often told you, and tell you weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross (they would like us to forget that Christ died on the cross for our sins, they would have the body removed from the cross). 1Cor 11:23- 26 as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes. Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
Mark 15:24 they crucified Him :25 it was the third hour when they crucified Him :28 And scripture was fulfilled :33 sixth hour darkness fell on the land :34 the ninth hour – Jesus breathed His last 16:6 you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene; He has risen – who has been crucified :7 go, tell.
